Enrique: ‘I’ve used ‘Tonight I’m f**king you’ as a chat-up line’
By Will Stroude
Enrique Iglesias has admitted he has used the title of his 2011 hit Tonight (I’m F**king You) as a chat up line.
In an interview in the new issue of Attitude, the Hero singer revealed that he can use the song – which peaked at number five on the UK’s Official Singles Chart – as an excuse to deliver the line.
“Thanks to the song, yes – I can use it as an excuse!” the 38-year-old said. “I think if you don’t deliver that lyric with honesty there’s no way you can pull it off!
“I just love that in a show I can do a song like Hero and then go into a song like I Like It or Tonight (I’m F**king You).”
The star went on to add: “Sex and love – no matter who it is, no matter what colour or religion – is something we can all relate to.”
