Erasure announce new album and UK tour
By Sam Rigby
Erasure have announced details of a new studio album and UK tour.
The duo – made up of Andy Bell and Vince Clarke – will release The Violet Flame as their 16th album on September 22.
The release will be supported by a 15-date tour of the UK in November and December, which will culminate with a show at The Forum in London on December 14.
The Violet Flame will serve as the follow-up to Snow Globe, which was released to critical acclaim last year.
The album was recorded in New York and London, with Richard X serving as producer. Erasure will release the first single from the 10-track LP in mid-July.
The Violet Flame is now available to pre-order here, with exclusive bundles available, including single, deluxe and box set formats.
