F&F Autumn Winter Review

By Joseph Kocharian

F&F pulled out all the stops at Somerset House, London last week, with a huge soiree to show off their Autumn Winter ’14 collection. The celebrities packed into the catwalk space to see what F&F have to offer, in a tent three times the size of what we are used to at London Fashion week

While the womenswear went full throttle with sheer pieces, polka dots and fur, the menswear focused firmly on outerwear- with coats, pea coats and bombers, mixed in with traditional tailoring accompanied with patterns of herringbone. The use of floral prints, scarves, and patterned shirts, definitely gave the collection the persona of the Dandy.
The palette was sophisticated with injections of inky navy, teale, and warmer berry colours, as well as shots of electric blue that worked well with the sea of winter neutrals, charcoal grey and black- There was also a great bridge between the formal and the casual, as the tailoring was mixed in with denim, knitwear and luxe scarves.

F&F treated us to all the big boys too, with their campaign star Jon Kortajarena, who we saw decked out in tropical prints for Spring Summer, walking (and closing the show) and Dolce & Gabbana favourite, Sam Webb. Man Candy and cuddly knits, what more do you want, boys?
