Frank Ocean follows in Bieber’s footsteps as the face of Calvin Klein’s #MyCalvins
Following in the footsteps of stars like Justin Bieber and Cameron Dallas, Frank Ocean has been announced as one of the new faces of Calvin Klein’s #MyCalvins campaign.
The 28-year-old singer, who just this week revealed that his long-awaited second studio album Boys Don’t Cry will be released this month, is among a raft of new stars who’ll be modelling the brand’s Fall 2016 range, with Young Thug, Henry Rollins, Kate Moss, Grace Coddington and Margot Robbie also featuring in the new campaign.
Talking about love in his newly-released #MyCalvins trailer, Ocean – who revealed in 2012 that debut album Channel Orange was inspired by his love for a man – says: “It takes a mind to worry, a conscience to feel ashamed, but there’s no place to hide out here. You romanticise what’s in the past – which is fantasy, but it’s not how I want it done.
“Fantasy plays the role of a supplement. You draw on fantasy to make things hyper-real.”
Our only request? More Frank in pants please.
