Grindr to livestream J.W. Anderson’s London Fashion Week show
In a new twist for London Fashion Week, menswear designer J.W. Anderson will be broadcasting their London Collections: Men runway show on an exclusive livestream with gay social networking app Grindr this Sunday (January 10).

At 10am on January 10, Grindr and Grindr Extra members will be directed from an in-app notification to the livestream of the Autumn/Winter ’16 menswear fashion show that will be on loop for 24 hours.
Of the daring new move, Anderson says: “Grindr is a widely used social platform that really reflects youth culture right now. At JW Anderson, we always look for ways to push boundaries when it comes to gender and our aesthetic. And of course the global reach of Grindr is undeniable.
“This is why for us, it makes perfect sense for Grindr to be the first outlet to livestream a J.W. Anderson men’s show”
This is Grindr’s first foray with fashion, but it’s not fashion’s first time with playing with the provocative: Thierry Mugler (under the helm of Nicola Formichetti) infamously debuted their spring ’12 menswear short film, Brothers of Arcadia on hardcore pornography site X-Tube.
So the only question is, will you be logging on and tuning in?
