Will Young’s new album 85% Proof has debuted at number one.
The singer’s sixth collection topped the UK album chart, seeing off competition from The Vaccines, who land at numbe two with English Graffiti.
Taylor Swift’s 1989 finished third, with Mumford & Sons at four with Wilder Mind. Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour rounds out the top 5, as it marks an entire year on the chart.
Over on the singles’ chart, Jason Derulo scores his fourth number one with ‘Want to Want Me’.
The lead single from his forthcoming new album Everything Is 4 finished with a combined sales total of over 127,000, beating OMI’s ‘Cheerleader’ by 60,000.
“I just want to say thank you to all the fans for giving me this tremendous pleasure,” Derulo told OfficialCharts.com. “It never ever gets old. Honestly, it feels just as good every time, if not better! I worked really hard on this album for about eight months, so to begin like this with a bang is a real blessing.”
Skrillex, Diplo and Justin Bieber’s collaboration Where Are U Now rises to number three, while Wiz Khalifa’s ‘See You Again’ and Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ finish at numbers four and five respectively.
Eurovision winner Måns Zelmerlöw makes his UK chart debut, as ‘Heroes’ finished at number 11.
