By Nick Levine
Kate Bush has added another seven dates to her eagerly-anticipated London residency.
The iconic singer-songwriter will now play 22 nights at London’s Eventim Apollo during August, September and October – rather than 15 as originally announced.
The new shows have been added following “massive pre-sale demand”, a press release from the singer’s PR team explains.
The title for the shows is Before The Dawn and the full list of dates is now as follows:
August 26, 27, 29, 30
September 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30
October 1
Tickets for all 22 shows go on sale at 9.30am this Friday (March 28) priced between £49 and £135. They are limited to four per booker and the “lead booker” will have to show photo ID upon arrival at the Eventim Apollo on the night of the gig.
Announcing the first batch of tour dates on her official site last Friday (March 21), Bush wrote: “I am delighted to announce that we will be performing some live shows this coming August and September. I hope you will be able to join us and I look forward to seeing you there. We’ll keep you updated with further news on the website.”
Bush’s only previous tour took place in 1979 and took in dates across Europe before ending with three shows at the Eventim Apollo – which was then called the Hammersmith Odeon.
She released her tenth and most recent studio album, 50 Words for Snow, in 2011.
