Katy B, MIA among first acts confirmed for Lovebox 2014

Katy B and MIA are among the first wave of acts confirmed for this year’s Lovebox festival.
Chase & Status, Banks, A$AP Rocky and MNEK will also perform at the event, which takes place over two days from 18-19 July, once again in London’s Victoria Park.
This year’s Lovebox is billed as “its most vibrant celebration of self-expression and diversity to date” and as well as live performances there will be DJ sets from east London club favourites Little Gay Brother, a competition to find Lovebox’s best dancer and the chance to experience “voga” – the new hybrid of yoga and Madonna-style Vogueing.
Tickets start at £35 and are available now from Ticketmaster. Further acts will be announced in due course.
The first Lovebox took place in 2002 and over the years the famously gay-friendly festival has witnessed performances from Grace Jones, Blondie, Scissor Sisters, Goldfrapp, Mika, The B52s, Kelis, Lana Del Rey and Chaka Khan.
