Kirk Norcross to release debut single for charity
By Sam Rigby
Kirk Norcross is to release a cover of Ain’t No Sunshine as his debut single.
The recent Attitude cover star has recorded a new version of the Bill Withers classic in aid of the ADHD Foundation.
Kirk has already unveiled a snippet of the track during an interview with Radio 1 Extra’s DJ Charlie Sloth, ahead of its release on March 25.
Speaking about the forthcoming release, Kirk said: “I decided to record a song because, it sounds cheesy, but I like singing. It makes me feel happy.
“At New Year, one of my goals and aspirations was to record a song, so I picked my backside off my chair, went to a studio and recorded a song and re-recorded it, re-recorded it and re-recorded it until I got it right!
“I’ve got what I wanted out of it, so why doesn’t the money go to charity?”
He added: “As someone who suffers from ADHD, I know first-hand how difficult it can be growing up with the illness and how challenging it can be at times for the friends and family of sufferers.”
