Kylie’s ‘Into the Blue’ cracks top ten in Ireland
By Nick Levine
Kylie Minogue’s new single Into the Blue has made the top ten in Ireland.
Into the Blue, the lead single from the singer’s upcoming 12th album Kiss Me Once, has struggled on the charts so far, failing to make the top 40 in Minogue’s native Australia.
In the UK, it looks set to miss out on a top ten spot tomorrow (March 16).
However, the song has proven more popular with listeners in Ireland and enters the Irish singles chart at number nine this week. The lead single from Minogue’s last album, All the Lovers, peaked at number six in Ireland in 2010.
Following on from Into the Blue, Kylie Minogue’s new album Kiss Me Once will be released this Monday (March 17) – click here to read our track-by-track review.
