Lady Gaga throws shade at Katy Perry over tour copying?

Lady Gaga has apparently thrown shade at fellow popstar Katy Perry.

Gaga, who recently kicked off her latest world tour ‘artRAVE: The Artpop Ball’ in the US, posted a tweet last night (May 9) appearing to dig at Perry.

“It looks like green hair and mechanical horses are the thing now,” she wrote.

Perry launched her own tour, ‘The Prismatic World Tour’ in Belfast on Wednesday (May 7) and appears on stage riding a mechanical horse and wearing a green wig.

It is believed that Gaga was making reference to the green wig and mechanical horse used in her 2011 tour ‘Born This Way Ball’.

The tweet comes after Gaga denied there was any competition between herself and Perry earlier this year, telling an audience during the SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas in March: “I don’t know what the f**k all I have to do with Katy Perry… Our music is so completely different. I couldn’t be more different, really.”

Perry has yet to respond to Gaga’s tweet.
