Lily Allen has spoken about the infamous “baggy p***y” scene in her Hard Out Here video.

Robin Thicke’s controversial Blurred Lines video features several shots in which the message “Robin Thicke has a big d**k” is spelled out in balloons. Allen sent this up in her own video with the less flattering balloon message: “Lily Allen has a baggy p***y.”

“I felt like I was being brave doing the baggy p***y thing, and that got lost,” Allen explained in a new interview with Elle. “That was meant to be the feminist moment. It was a brave thing to do – say that you have an enormous vagina!”

During the interview, Allen – now a mother of two – also admitted that she has conflicting views on her own celebrity. “I don’t want to be a famous person. But [with] the nature of the industry, when I have an album to promote, I do want to be famous. I want people to buy it! And I want them to go to my shows. That’s how it works,” she explained.

“I think of myself as a product in that sense. But I don’t want that frenzy. I think it’s weird for children to grow up around that.”

Lily Allen releases her new single Air Balloon on March 2. Listen to it below.
