Cult pop singer Charli XCX has unveiled a new track called Boom Clap. Give it a listen below.
The track, an 80s-influenced pop banger, will appear on the soundtrack to The Fault In Our Stars, an upcoming film starring Shailene Woodley and Willem Dafoe.
Charli XCX is best known for co-writing and appearing on Icona Pop’s 2013 chart-topper I Love It, as well as singing the hook on Iggy Azalea’s latest single Fancy, which is on course to debut in the top five on the UK’s Official Singles Chart tomorrow (April 13).
Charli’s most recent solo single, Superlove, was released last December (2013) and at the time she spoke to Attitude, recalling her nights out at London gay bar East Bloc and club night Shake Yer Dix.
She released her acclaimed debut album, True Romance, in May of last year, and as well as working on her follow-up album, has recently been enlisted to write tracks for Rita Ora.
