Paloma Faith has debuted inside the top ten of the UK’s Official Singles Chart with Can’t Rely On You.
The track, produced by Pharrell Williams, enters at number ten today (March 2) to become the singer’s second top ten hit after 2012’s Picking Up The Pieces.
Earlier this week, Faith complained about the lack of radio airplay the single has received, saying: “I can only see it as personal.”
She has also revealed in an interview featured in the latest issue of Attitude that legendary American songwriter has an unusual term of endearment for her: “c*nt”.
Meanwhile, Foxes – real name Louisa Rose Allen – enters at number seven with Let Go For Tonight to score her first ever top ten hit. The Southampton-born singer, 24, played at London’s Heaven nightclub last Saturday (February 22) on the night of National Student Pride. Her previous single, Youth, peaked at number 12 in November.
Pharrell Williams’ Happy returns to number one today, pushing last week’s chart-topper – Money on My Mind by Sam Smith – into second place. Katy Perry’s Dark Horse jumps from six to four and Ellie Goulding’s Goodness Gracious climbs from 26 to 16 to become her eighth UK top 20 hit.
