Paloma Faith, Foxes heading for top ten on Sunday
By Josh Haggis
Paloma Faith and Foxes are both heading for the top ten this Sunday (March 2), according to the midweek update from the Official Charts Company.
Paloma’s Pharrell Williams-produced single Can’t Rely On You, the first to be taken from her upcoming third album A Perfect Contradiction, currently sits at number eight.
If the single holds onto that position, it will become her second top ten hit since she made her chart debut in 2009.
Meanwhile, Foxes’ Let Go For Tonight is on course for a top ten spot too. This would be the first top ten hit for the up-and-coming singer, real name Louisa Rose Allen, after her previous single Youth charted at number 12 in December.
Foxes supported her new single with a set at London’s G-A-Y club on Saturday night (February 22).
Pharrell Williams is on course to return to Number One on Sunday with Happy, having been booted off the top spot by Sam Smith’s Money On My Mind last week. Smith’s single is down to number two in the midweeks.
