Peaches Geldof dies: Celebrities pay tribute to late star
By Sam Rigby
Celebrities have paid tribute to Peaches Geldof following her sudden death at the age of 25.
The journalist and TV presenter died at her home in Wrotham, Kent yesterday (April 7).
Her family led the tributes shortly after the news broke, with her father Bob Geldof saying that his family “are beyond pain”.
He said: “She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us.
“Writing ‘was’ destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is.”
Peaches’ husband Thomas Cohen – who she married in 2012 – said that he will bring up their children Astala, 23 months, and Phaedra, 11 months, “with their mother in their hearts”.
