Richard James teams up with Alex Mullins for a collection of cute silk pocket squares
By Nick Byam
Bespoke tailor Richard James has collaborated with 2015 NEWGEN award winner and British menswear designer, Alex Mullins, to produce a series of silk pocket squares for their 2016 Spring and Summer collection.
The seven silk pocket squares feature Alex’s eclectic and playful designs in bright bold colours and if you put enough of them together they even make a face!
In a press release, Alex Mullins says: “I wanted the pocket squares to feel spontaneous and inky to bring new life to such a traditional piece.”
The pockets, when worn, can offer an abstract splash of colour to any suit, Mullin explains.
“The lively graphic and play with colour is what is so key to both the Richard James and Alex Mullins brands.”
Mullins established his own brand in 2013 while Richard James was founded back in 1992 and quickly gained a reputation as a leading luxury menswear brand.
