Sarah Harding will launch her solo career with an acoustic set at Kensington Palace.
The Girls Aloud singer will debut her new material at the charity event in aid of Street Child on March 20, the London Evening Standard reports.
Harding has waived her fee for appearing at the event, and says that she is “honoured” to be taking part in what will be a “great night for the charity”.
A source said: “Sarah was asked by the charity Street Child if she would visit one of their sites in Africa, which she is planning to do later this year.
“During discussions about its fifth anniversary at Kensington Palace, Sarah was invited to the dinner but instead offered to perform for the 200 guests.
“She has agreed to do an acoustic set with guitarist Nikki Murray performing her new material and probably a Girls Aloud classic.”
Harding said: “I am honoured to be supporting a charity like Street Child and I have been asked to go on a site visit to Africa later this year to highlight their work.
“It will be a great night for the charity celebrating their fifth anniversary at Kensington Palace and I look forward to showcasing a few of my new tracks in the amazing surroundings.”
