Aretha Franklin appeared to snub fellow diva Patti Labelle during a recent appearance at the White House.
The legendary belters were both invited to sing at the President’s residence last week (March 6) for an ‘In Performance at the White House’ event celebrating Women of Soul.
As Franklin walked towards the stage, LaBelle tried to grab the Respect singer’s hand – only to have it coolly snatched away from her. See the GIF below, which our friends at Queerty unearthed.
