Sinéad O’Connor has announced details of her tenth studio album.
I’m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss will be released by the Irish singer on August 11, through her new label Nettwerk Records.
The record’s lead single Take Me To Church, one of twelve new songs on the album, will also be released on August 11.
I’m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss will serve as the follow-up to O’Connor’s 2011 album How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?
In a career spanning 25 years, O’Connor has released hit songs like Nothing Compares 2 U and I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got, as well 1987 breakout hit Mandinka.
The singer was involved in a high profile spat with Miley Cyrus last year, when she expressed concern that the Bangerz star is being exploited by the music industry. Cyrus made mention of O’Connor’s mental health problems in her response.
