Sky Ferreira needs 60 stitches after ‘Bangerz’ accident

Cult pop singer Sky Ferreira has injured her leg while performing on Miley Cyrus’s Bangerz tour.
The Everything Is Embarrassing singer is supporting the former Disney star while she embarks on the North American leg of the tour.
Ferreira fell during the first song of her set at the Bangerz stop-off in Anaheim, California on Thursday night (February 20), but didn’t realise the extent of her injuries until she had finished performing.
She posted pictures of the incident on Instagram afterwards, including the one to the right. “I fell during the intro of the 1st song of the set. I ended up with 60 stitches & at the hospital for 7 hours,” Ferreira wrote.
“I didn’t even notice the injury until 10 mins after I played bc I had so much fun. I just figured it was some blood. I’m so excited to do the LA show tomorrow (despite the not so cool bandage around my leg).Thanks @mileycyrus for having me. <3 <3 <3 <3 u xoxoxo #ThePowerOfAdrenalin.”
Ferreira, 21, already a veteran of two Attitude interviews, will release her debut album Night Time, My Time in the UK on March 17. After leaving the Bangerz tour she will play a headline show at east London’s Oslo venue on March 10.
