Sugababes’ Heidi Range plans career in West End

Heidi Range has revealed plans to begin a career in London’s West End.
The singer, who is currently starring in the UK touring production of Happy Days, said that theatre, not a solo career, is now her priority.
In an interview with MarkMeets.com, Range said: “There are no plans for any recordings at the moment, though I am open to new ideas to try new things and if it was the right thing then obviously I would not turn it down.”
Asked if she would like to record with producer-of-the-moment Pharrell Williams, the singer replied: “Oh yeah! I would love to do a collaboration, I think that would be really nice. I guess I’ll see what comes about.”
Happy Days’
current tour ends in July, and Range explained that she now wants to take to the stage in London’s famous West End.
“I really want to do a West End show – that’s my next goal: to have my name up outside a West End theatre,” Range said. “I’ve not seen enough of the shows to know ‘That’s the role I really want to do’. There was talk of Bridget Jones happening at one point and I would love to play Bridget, I think that would be brilliant.”
Jade Ewen revealed last September that Sugababes effectively split in 2012, telling our friends at Digital Spy: “We kind of fizzled out about two years ago.”
Original Sugababes MKS have yet to release their eagerly-anticipated debut album, but were recently spotted in the studio with Dev Hynes, the producer of their comeback single Flatline.
