The May Fair Hotel: Review

By Nick Byam

So after shooting a few Attitude features (Giulio Berruti) in The May Fair Hotel Penthouse Suite, there was no other place I wanted to take my partner for a birthday treat.

On arrival The May Fair’s reception was welcoming to say the least, after being shown to our room by the lovely attendant we were greeted by a complimentary bottle of champagne.

The décor was simple, but luxurious. The room was brought to life by the rich textures, and a bed fit for a queen. The luxuriousness continued into the bathroom, and as informed by our attendant appointed with ‘Sicilian marble’ and to top it off a great power shower.

A few drinks and a rather comfortable sleep later, breakfast was needed to fix our hangovers. We were pleased with the selection as they hadn’t missed anything off of the menu, I settled for bacon and eggs. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the true tell-tale of an establishment which pays attention to all of the details.

If your looking for five star luxury in the heart of Mayfair look no further, The Mayfair Hotel truly is a London gem, whether you are there to stay the night, enjoy the spa or dine in one of the restaurants/bars.

Expect to see more shoots from The May Fair Hotel in future Attitude features.
