The Olivier Awards Style lessons from Chester Barrie
The Olivier awards brought out the big guns last night, with a smorgasbord of talent from the stage. We were treated to a plethora of great performances from the likes of Gavin Creel (who won an award for his role in Book of Mormon) and the cast of all our favourite musicals, such as Wicked, Les Mis, Phantom, Sound of Music, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Matilda and Mamma Mia (pretty good haul, we think you will agree.)
The Olivier’s hit the ground running with star power as legend after legend hit the stage in one form or another- Elaine Page, the boys from Abba, Bernadette Peters, as well as the likes of nominees Dame Judi Dench and Tom Hiddleston in the audience.
Savile Row’s Chester Barrie have sponsored the Olivier Awards for the third consecutive year and many of the attendees, including nominees, winners and host Steve Mangan were kitted out by one of Savile Row’s finest. Steve went head to head in the fashion stakes with his gorgeous co-host Gemma Arterton, which is no easy feat. He more than stood his sartorial ground in his very dapper Chester Barrie outfit.
Winner of Best Actor of the night, Rory Kinnear, as well as British favourites such as Ben Miles, Robert Lindsay, Alistair McGowan, Mark Gattis, Michael Xavier and Once’s Arthur Darvill all stepped out in their Chester Barries formalwear
Chester Barrie have also teamed up with Fenwick of Bond Street in the form of a pop-up store in the menswear department. Which will be there until Easter.
