Things We Love: Nick Grimshaw’s new Topman collection

Radio 1 star and X Factor Judge Nick Grimshaw is launching his debut collection with Topman this Wednesday (14th October), dubbing the collection his ‘dream wardrobe’.

“A naturally stylish dresser, Nick took very easily to the role of designer for his inaugral collection for Topman, questioning every detail of the range and injecting fun into the process,” said Gordon Richardson, Creative Director for Topman.

He was so involved, in fact, that sketches and doodles from his journal of his dog Pig have been incorporated into official mascot and the logo of the collection. His ‘Puppy’ tattoo has also made its way on to some of the garments.

The capsule collection includes jackets, coats and tees which are mixed with Topman’s super-skinny ripped jeans – are a staple of Nick’s everyday wardrobe.  There is plenty of leopard print- whether you want touches of the print or you want to rock the look head to toe.

Among the more ostenatious prints and pieces, such as fringed suede jackets, there are also more subtle pieces. The ‘Puppy’ logo is a great little touch that ensures Nick’s stamp is all over the collection – and it’s extra cute if you’re a dog lover of course.

The Collection launches  on 14th October 2015 at selected stores and on topman.com
