Tina Turner rep denies stroke: ‘She enjoys excellent health’

Tina Turner has not suffered a stroke, a spokesperson for the singer has confirmed.
It was incorrectly reported by a German news site on Monday (May 26) that Turner was in recovery following a “mild stroke”, but had “already managed a smile for her partner Erwin Bach”.
The I Don’t Wanna Fight singer’s representative commented: “The fact is that Tina enjoys excellent health.”
The spokesperson also revealed that the singer does not know the man quoted in the article, named as Albert B. Cologne. She was also not planning a trip to Austria, which he claimed she had cancelled after suffering the alleged health scare.
This isn’t the first time that inaccurate reports concerning Turner’s health have surfaced. Earlier this year, her friend Oprah Winfrey was forced to deny similar reports.
The 74-year-old currently resides in Switzerland with her husband Erwin Bach. The couple married on the banks of Lake Zurich in July 2013.
