Whistles Menswear is upon us!
Last week- contemporary fashion brand Whistles previewed their debut menswear collection at an intimate dinner hosted by Jane Shepherdson and Attitude were invited along to hob-nob with the likes of Game of Thrones star Joe Dempsie and Peaky Blinders’ Paul Anderson. We wandered around the Violin Factory, that had been decked out to reflect the Whistles’ Man (even the film clips playing on his projector were linked his persona).
Michelin star Keith Goddard and his team served up a feast and we were serenaded by Jacob Banks as we took a look at what the Whistles Man was all about:
It is clear from the presentation that he is smart and unfussy, intelligent dresser, adding a modern edge to all of his wardrobe. We were treated to oversized overcoats, versatile tailoring and some absolutely gorgeous knitwear.
The collection is smart and wearable- including denim with subtle detailing, glorious mohair blend roll necks and cashmere jogging bottom trousers (we love a bit of sportswear here at Attitude)
Jane Shepherdson, Chief Executive at Whistles sums up the ethos of Whistles, saying that the brand ‘believes that sharpness, quality and function are what really resonate today. If the simple things don’t look brilliant, how can you expect customers to fall for the more standout pieces?’ We couldn’t agree more Jane.
Whistles proved that they can do understated with aplomb. We want to wear it, we want to wear it all!
