Gay couple launch their own luxury gay wedding magazine in Australia

Despite same-sex marriage not yet being recognised in Australia, this Melbourne couple believe they’re “shaking things up” when it comes to same-sex marriage Down Under.

Groom + Guy is a luxury gay wedding magazine created by Matty Bulger and Tony Smith.

The couple describe the magazine as “Australia and New Zealand’s first and only luxury gay wedding resource” and the publication is available across both digital and print platforms.

The luxury guide will include content focusing not only on weddings but on style, travel, honeymoons and food, helping you make your perfect day that little bit more perfect.

Containing real life stories and contemporary ideas, Matty and Tony believe Groom + Guy offer the absolute best experience for same-sex couples seeking inspiration for their nuptials.

“In no way, shape or form is there anything presently available that is comparable to what G+G is or what it achieves,” the couple say. “We are the benchmark, and we have set it pretty high (apologies in advance to our future competitors).”

The biannual magazine will cost $14.95 AUD and will be available in print across Australia and New Zealand. It will also be available on a digital platform.

Let’s hope this magazine pushes the benchmark to get same-sex marriage recognised Down Under too.
