Inspiration for our designs comes from all walks of life; culture, art, architecture, literature, history and fashion making Couture Confection’s cakes unique in every way.
Couture Confection has always aimed to cater specifically to its clients needs. Into all of our creations we infuse in the memories and moments in life that our clients want their guests to feel, whether that is a chocolate bar purchased from a late night store one cold, rainy, winters night, or a dessert they tried on a remote island in some sunny location. In our newest collection Couture Confection has been inspired by the idea of a summer fairytale. Our elegant swan lake inspired cake has all the beauty and innocence of a fairytale princess, suited perfectly for the grandest of weddings.
The ornate 1950s inspired pearl cake is topped with a delicate but awe inspiring bouquet of hydrangeas, peonies and avalanche roses all hand crafted from sugar, finished off with sugar ruffles and a blanket of sugar pearls, echoing all the charm and enchantment of the era.
The everlasting rose cake in hues of ombre pink symbolizes the classic fairytale story of eternal love, cascading petals adorn this simplistic cake that shows that love will always continue to bloom.
In a modern twist our splatter silhouette cake shows a modern day fairytale of over-coming adversity, freedom and letting loose, inspired by the work of Jackson Pollock, this cake is decorated with a silhouette of cheering crowds and both partners on its top tier, ready to take on whatever is to come their way together!
