Betty White’s ‘Hot in Cleveland’ renewed for sixth season

Betty White’s sitcom Hot in Cleveland has been renewed for a sixth season.
TV Land announced that the series will continue with a new 24-episode run during rehearsals for the the show’s 100th episode this week.
White stars alongside Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malic in the show, which has averaged 2.6 million viewers since its premiere in 2010.
The sitcom follows three friends who decided to move to Cleveland after their plane to Paris makes an emergency landing in the Ohio city.
TV Land president Larry W Jones announced the renewal, saying: “There’s instant magic when our cast, writers and crew get together for each episode.
“We’re so excited to be reaching these milestones and can’t wait to see what lies ahead in Cleveland.”
