Cheryl Cole has revealed further details about her upcoming fourth solo album, Only Human.
The popstar and X Factor judge performed at the Capital Summertime Ball in London yesterday (June 21), and shared a few tidbits about the album, due later this year, before she took to the stage.
“Sia’s done a couple of songs [on the album],” Cole told our friends at Digital Spy. “[One] song, when I first heard it, was just full of personality and the girl is a genius. I’m just glad I got the chance to work with her.”
The 30-year-old singer went on to describe the album’s sound, saying: “It’s a variation. There’s some pop – ‘cos that’s what I do and love – but there’s some R&B flavour on there.”
“I’ve done a collaboration with an up-and-coming artist who I’m excited about,” she added.
Cole has recently unveiled the lead single from Only Human, Crazy Stupid Love, and it’s due for release on July 27 – click here to watch the video.
The album will be released in November, and follows the singer’s trio of previous solo albums, 3 Words, Messy Little Raindrops and A Million Lights, which spawned a string of hit singles including the Number Ones Fight For This Love, Promise This and Call My Name.
