Gogglebox’s Stephen and Chris finally reveal why they didn’t work out as a couple

Stephen Web and Chris Steed have been entertaining for the last three years as two of Gogglebox‘s original and most-loved cast members. But while their chemistry makes for comedic gold on the sofa, it sadly never truly translated to the bedroom, for reasons most of us are all too familiar with.
When we caught up with the pair for the latest issue of Attitude, we asked them to clear up, once and for all, their relationship status. “We hooked up,” Chris admits, before Stephen coyly adds, “but it just didn’t work.”
Luckily we didn’t have to do much digging as to why it didn’t work, as Chris offered us the lowdown without prompt. “Two Bottoms!” he explained, before adding: “Well, Stephen is a lazy top. He basically just lays there, has stuff done to him, then can’t be bothered!”
The more you know, eh?
Even though their off-screen relationship didn’t work out, they are now both in happily engaged to their respective other halves; Stephen is engaged to hairdresser Daniel Lustig, and Chris to gardener Tony Butland.
