Graham Norton tells Piers Morgan to ‘Grow a pair’
Television host Graham Norton has slammed Piers Morgan for attacking Ewan McGregor over his refusal to go on Good Morning Britain.
The Trainspotting actor was set to make an appearance on the show this week to promote the sequel to Trainspotting. However, McGregor cancelled.
The 45-year-old actor’s decision to cancel the appearance came after Piers said he was “planning a men’s march to protest at the creeping global emasculation of my gender by rabid feminists.”
The actor star took to Twitter to break the news to hopeful fans, writing: “Was going on Good Morning Britain, didn’t realise Piers Morgan was host. Won’t go on with him after his comments about Women’s March.”
According to Gay Star News, Morgan then embarked on a series of angry tweets demanding that he and McGregor have a debate over the issue like a “real men.”
Graham Norton has now slammed Morgan, defending McGregor who made an appearance on his show last night (January 28).
When asked if Norton’s upcoming show with McGregor touched on Piers Morgan, Norton said: “We didn’t discuss Piers Morgan because there’s nothing to discuss. You describe it as a fracas. It’s only a fracas in Piers Morgan’s mind.”
“It’s funny that he talks about millennial snowflakes and yet a man didn’t agree to come on his show and he’s been tweeting about it non-stop for 48 hours. Really, grow a pair.”
Ewan McGregor stars in the T2 Trainspotting, the sequel to the 1996 film Trainspotting.
