Lady Gaga 'banned' from talking about Trump during Super Bowl performance

Lady Gaga has reportedly been banned from talking about Trump during her Super Bowl performance.

According to Gay Star News, the star is set to take the stage on February 5 in Houston, Texas.

During the 2016 presidential election, Gaga was a passionate supporter of Hillary Clinton and continuously spoken out against President Donald Trump.

However, ET reports that Gaga has been warned to not use her performance as a protest against the president.

The ‘Million Reasons’ singer was told that the “cannot say anything or bring anything up about the election, or bring anything up about the election, or mention Donald Trump.”

However, NFL have denied the allegations, stating that the report is “nonsense.”

A spokesperson for the organisation said, “The Super Bowl is a time when people really come together. Lady Gaga is focused on putting together an amazing show for fans and we love working with her on it; we aren’t going to be distracted by this.”

The report also suggest that Gaga is planning on singing from the roof of Houston’s NRG Stadium, though this has yet to be confirmed.

Gaga has been top-secret about her upcoming performances. Rumours suggest the singer may be performing with an extra guest, though it’s unknown who.
