Lady Gaga reveals huge collaboration for new album and performs surprise show at Hackney’s Moth Club
Lady Gaga has been sending fans into meltdown with her new comeback single ‘Perfect Illusion’.
While co-hosting BBC Radio 1 yesterday (September 10) alongside Nick Grimshaw, Gaga got chatting and revealed that a very big collaboration will be appearing on her next album.
Gaga stunned fans when she revealed that her currently untitled fifth studio album, set to be released this year, will feature a duet with Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine.
“Me and Florence Welch did a duet together. I started to work on an idea for a song that I really wanted to do with a girl. You’ll see why when you see what the song is about.”
When asked why she chose Florence, Gaga said:
“I just thought, ‘Who do I want to sing with?’ She’s really to me, if not the best, one of the greatest vocalists in the world. She’s incredible.”
Gaga then appeared alongside Heart FM Breakfast host Emma Bunton and the pair sang a few lines from the Spice Girls classic ‘2 Become 1’.
It didn’t end for Gaga then however, as in the early hours of Saturday morning (September 10) she did a surprise performance at Hackney’s Moth Club, a former working men’s club.

that ‘Perfect Illusion’ co-producer Mark Ronson warmed up the stage before Gaga sang a live rendition of the single in silver hotpants. Then singer then sat down at a keyboard for an acoustic performance of ‘Bad Romance’.
The show came to an end when Ronson played 2015 hit single ‘Uptown Funk’ and Gaga danced her way through the crowd before leaving.
