Ryan Murphy has revealed the upcoming release date of Pose season two.
The show, which is set in 1980s New York City, is just over halfway through its eight-episode run in the US and made history for featuring the highest number of trans actors in series regular roles on a TV show.
And last year, it was reported that the series – which stars Billy Porter, Indya Moore and Dominque Jackson – was already renewed for a second season but no release date was announced.
But now, Murphy – who created the series – has taken to Instagram to post an image of Jackson sat upon the iconic Iron Throne from Game of Thrones.
In the caption, the Glee creator also poked fun of the final series of the hit HBO show by using the phrase ‘Winter is Coming’ and changing it to ‘Wintour is Coming’.
The new season of the hit show has an earlier than expected release date for US viewers and Murphy confirmed it is set to arrive on June 11.
He wrote: “Wintour Is Coming. Season Two Arrives Tuesday June 11 at 10pm.”
