The Red Hot project has launched a Kickstarter campaign for their new calendar Red Hot American Boys.
Now in its sixth year, the unstoppable Red Hot project has headed to Muscle Beach, Los Angeles, to bring together America’s hottest ginger jocks from across the United States for a 2019 calendar.
Photographer Thomas Knights and Art Director Elliott James Freize have selected 12 of America’s sexiest redheads from their online model search, using Instagram and Facebook to discover the hottest new talent.
And they’ve picked some extremely hot, hot men.
The project has been successfully rebranding the ginger male stereotype since 2013 with five previous calendars, two coffee table books and a global touring exhibition, raising more than £55,000 for various charities including: The Diana Award, Terrence Higgins Trust, Elton John Aids Foundation, and The Anti-Bullying Alliance.
This year’s calendar raises funds for Athlete Ally, a charity that believes that everyone should have equal access, opportunity, and experience in sports — regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
Their mission is to end homophobia and transphobia in sport and to activate the athletic community to exercise their leadership to champion LGBTQ equality.
Set to be Red Hot’s biggest year to date, the duo are also launching a new Red Hot underwear range, aptly named ‘Muscle Beach’ which features in the calendar.
After the huge success of their 2018 calendar ‘Red Hot British Boys’ the duo are taking the project to every Red Hot nation around the globe including Red Hot German Boys in 2020 and Red Hot Australian Boys in 2021.
The red, white and blue jockstrap, trunk and brief are available as a £40 reward, exclusively on the project’s Kickstarter page.
