Melbourne driver stabbed gay brother before killing four people in rampage

By Fabio Crispim

26-year-old Dimitrious James ‘Jimmy’ Gargasoulas killed four people and injured 20 more after he drove a car through a crowd on Bourke Street, Melbourne, Australia.

According to Gay Star News, Gargasoulas’ mother said he fought with his brother, Angelo, over his sexuality and allegedly stabbed him in the face.

In a statement, his mother said: “Jimmy keeps saying to me, ‘I’m going to kill all gays and p**fters and lesbians.’ He’s not the Jimmy I used to know from years back. I don’t want to be known that I’m the mother.”

After stabbing his brother, Gargasoulas allegedly took his pregnant girlfriend hostage and drove to Melbourne from his New South Wales home before attacking pedestrians with his car.

His girlfriend, Akiir Muo, reports he began to drive erratically and became more agitated. According to Muo, he kept saying, “I can’t let you out of my sight, if you don’t come with me I’m going to kill you.”

Muo claims she was pushed out of the car around 11am before Gargasoulas ploughed his car through pedestrians at 1.50pm.

Police chased him and Gargasoulas was only subdued when police shot him down. He is now recovering in hospital under supervision.

According to reports, police already know of Gargasoulas as he made several threats on Facebook before the violent attack.

In a series of statements on Facebook, Gargasoulas declared war. He said:

“I declare war on tyranny today you dogs will have the option to either believe in me and his positive energy he offers and stay faithful to me or serve the one who enslaves you at his feet.”
