Katy B, Heather Small & Sonia to perform at Liverpool Pride

Katy B has been confirmed as the headline act for this summer’s Liverpool Pride.
The 25-year-old, whose latest album Little Red topped the charts earlier this year (February) will perform at the city’s 5th annual pride event, which is due to take place on Saturday August 2.
The Crying for No Reason singer – who described herself as an “honourary gay” in an interview with Attitude.co.uk earlier this year – joins pop veterans Sonia and Heather Small as part of the line-up, with more acts set to be announced over the coming weeks.
Katy and Heather will performing on the Waterfront Stage, while Sonia – best known for her 1989 hit You’ll Never Stop Me from Loving You – will take to the Stanley Street Stage.
The theme of the this year’s Liverpool Pride is ‘Glam Fairy Tales’, and festival-goers are being encouraged to come dressed in their most wild and wacky interpretations.
This year’s event will be ticketed for the first time, but the free Liverpool Pride March through the city centre will kick of the day’s celebrations at 12pm from St. George’s Plateau.
