Burton’s new Montague Collection has everything a man needs
By Josh Lee
This A/W season Burton is thrilled to release the new Montague collection, which showcases the very best of the brand. With carefully selected quality fabrics in key seasonal trends, the collection builds on the ethos of simplicity, quality and classic modernity.
Fine tailoring and providing impeccable suiting is a feat that Burton prides themselves on, and for Autumn/Winter 16, Montague Burton creates the ultimate tailoring wardrobe. The timeless and masculine range includes three-piece suits in navy flannel, grey poppy tooth and grey window check, each with a bold floral lining adding further interest and considered attention to detail. A camel two-piece offers a contemporary alternative whilst for evening; a black wool tuxedo oozes elegance – the unquestioned king of the party season.
The casual pieces also keep a clean and tailored aesthetic. A navy check flannel bomber jacket and matching trouser set illustrates this perfectly. A multi-functional look that is relaxed enough to match with a pair of white trainers and a roll-neck, or sophisticated enough for a day in the office.
The outerwear conqueror is a wool double-breasted herringbone overcoat, able to flatter each of the looks for either day or evening – an iconic piece that every man should own. For a dress-down option a suede camel bomber jacket creates a sporty yet equally classic silhouette and a navy cotton shirt-jacket provides a relaxed off-duty option.
Merino wool roll-necks and crew-necks come in maroon and navy, with shirting in luxe cotton jacquards, presented in jewel tones of indigo and emerald.
The Montague Burton collection is designed in house and is in store and online now . Prices start at £25 for leisurewear, up to £200 for suiting. Accessories start from £18.
